“MIRA extends our sincerest congratulations to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on their hard fought victory. We especially would like to congratulate Kamala Harris for making history as the first woman, first Black person and first South Asian American to be elected Vice President. Her victory sends a message to young people across this country that a daughter of immigrants can be anything she wants to be. We also send our heartfelt congratulations to the millions of new Americans who cast their votes for the first time in this historic election and made their voices heard.
