Laura Perras
Born and raised in the Boston area, Laura (she/her) comes to MIRA after a focused search for a role that would intersect her passion for marketing and making an impact on human safety, dignity, and connection. A graduate of Skidmore College, she has lived in multiple cities and countries, working in communications and marketing across different industries. She began her career as a graphic designer while promoting nightlife events and performing as a DJ, returning to the Boston area in 2014 after her daughter was born.
Committed to furthering equity, anti-racism and the environment, Laura actively contributes to her community by serving on the board of the Brookline Education Foundation, participating in the local public K-8 school community through involvement in the PTO and Equity PAC, and planting pollinator gardens in public spaces with fellow Pollinator Pathway volunteers.
Laura speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys yoga, reading, cooking and music.
