Supreme Court decision on TPS (6/25/26)

Supreme Court Decision on TPS

  • The Supreme Court issued a decision allowing the termination of TPS for Haiti and Syria to take effect.
  • The case is being returned to the lower courts and that process can take about 30 days. In the meantime, TPS protections remain in place and work permits remain valid.
  • Even without TPS, you may still be able to remain in the United States if you are pursuing other types of immigration status.
  • Individuals with TPS who have not yet applied for other status should consult with an attorney to understand their options.

Desizyon Lakou Siprèm lan sou TPS la

  • Lakou Siprèm nan te bay yon desizyon ki pèmèt yo mete fen nan TPS pou Ayiti ak Siri a an vigè.
  • Ka a ap retounen nan tribinal ki pi ba yo e pwosesis sa a ka pran anviwon 30 jou. Antretan, pwoteksyon TPS yo rete an plas e pèmi travay yo rete valab.
  • Menm san TPS, ou ka toujou rete Ozetazini si w ap chèche lòt kalite estati imigrasyon.
  • Moun ki gen TPS ki poko aplike pou lòt estati ta dwe konsilte avèk yon avoka pou yo konprann opsyon yo genyen.
