MIRA in the media

As the largest organization in New England promoting the rights and integration of immigrants and refugees, we serve as a key resource for journalists covering issues that affect the lives of Massachusetts’ more than 1 million foreign-born residents. We also seek to empower immigrants and their allies through media trainings and communications support.

If you’re a journalist looking to interview MIRA staff and/or get background materials or suggested sources for a story, please contact our Director of Communications, Marion Davis, at mdavis[at]miracoalition.org, (617) 350-5480, x204, or on her cell: (781) 654-5160. Sign up here for our media list.

If you’re an immigrant or ally looking to add your voice to the debate, you can find guidance on how to write an op-ed, or write a letter to the editor. Note that these materials are being updated.

Below are selected stories quoting MIRA staff or covering MIRA activities. Click here for coverage of Welcoming New Hampshire.
