GLAH 2007 HonoreesThe Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) honors those in the Commonwealth who day in, day out, work to Give Liberty A Hand – working at multiple levels to protect and promote the rights and opportunities of immigrants and refugees. Part of the proceeds will support the New American Democracy Fellowship. Launched in 2006, this program trains immigrant students across the Commonwealth as the civic leaders of tomorrow.
