English for New Bostonians is a public-private-community collaboration whose mission is to increase access to high-quality English classes to adult immigrants in Boston.

The English Works Campaign is a unique coalition of immigrant community leaders, labor unions, business and civic leaders, educators, and advocates across Massachusetts working toward a Commonwealth that provides all residents with a pathway to economic self-sufficiency; ensures a stable, skilled workforce for businesses; and integrates immigrants into the fabric of our economy, communities and shared civic life.

The Greater Boston Citizenship Initiaitive  (GBCI) is a new collaborative project that helps eligible legal permanent residents overcome barriers to naturalization. This initiative was created by the Fish Family Foundation and MIRA Coalition in partnership with six other immigrant, community-based, and direct service organizations to increase naturalization rates in the state.

The National Center on Immigrant Integration Policy at Migration Policy Institute offers policy-focused research, policy design, leadership development, technical assistance and training for policymakers, nonprofit leaders, educators, journalists, researchers, government officials, and others who seek to understand and respond to the challenges and opportunities that today’s high rates of immigration create in local communities.

Welcoming America is a national, grassroots-driven collaborative that works to promote mutual respect and cooperation between foreign-born and U.S.-born Americans. The ultimate goal of Welcoming America is to create a welcoming atmosphere – community by community – in which immigrants are more likely to integrate into the social fabric of their adopted hometowns.
